Great film by Luis Lucia, very amusing to see.

The "Priest José" (Adolfo Marsillach), they spend to help in a small Church in a suburb near Madrid. But when it comes learns that the parish priest has died, and now he has to do over the administration and the functioning of the church, until the lord bishop decides. The local inhabitants living in poor conditions material and moral. Only an older woman and very blessed "Doña Casilda" (Margarita Robles), owner of the best house of the neighborhood, practicing religion in her way. "Ramón" (Jose Isbert), the sacristan, puts the flow of the miseries of the place. And the "Priest José", instead of collapse, his takes as a great challenge.
